My background

I hold a master's degree in Community Health Nursing and have a strong passion for women's health, nurse well-being, and environmental health. I am certified in NCC-OB, Aromatherapy, and am a Dancing for Birth Instructor. As the owner of HeroSelfCare and AromaLisaCo, my mission is to help others embrace a healthier and less toxic lifestyle. Since 2018, I've been dedicated to supporting healthcare professionals to incorporate wellness practices into their lives. I focus on areas such as aromatherapy, breathing techniques, acupressure, spending time in green spaces, and encouraging joyful movement. 

A decade ago, I embarked on a journey towards a non-toxic lifestyle, transitioning my home to eco-friendly products, practicing meditation, and immersing myself in nature to alleviate my own stress. Along the way, I discovered the healing potential of essential oils and their positive impact on health and wellness. 

Recognizing the challenges nurses face, like burnout and exhaustion, I'm committed to tackling these issues to enhance the well-being of caregivers and improve patient care. 

My efforts have gained recognition at professional conferences, including the 2022 SYNOVA conference. Additionally, I have collaborated with hospitals and community groups like Care New England, MOMUNITY, Climate Action Committee, and MAAOHN, demonstrating my dedication to promoting a healthier and more balanced lifestyle for both healthcare professionals and the communities they serve.
